WORKSHOP

The workshop will focus on the changing climate conditions’ influence on landscape architecture and urban planning. The students are requested to give a precise answer to the question of how one can adapt to the new climatic conditions through the employment of the means of landscape architecture. Their assignment will be to find a new location for Tivoli within the greater Copenhagen area, where the amusement park could function as a generator of urban development. The former Tivoli site within the Metropolis Zone should then be given a programme and design, including the suggestion of relevant technical devises, by which it adapts to the new climatic conditions, whilst also heightening the urban quality of the area.
